Our mission is to advance the fundamental knowledge of acquired brain injury using innovative neuroscience tools that bridge basic neurobiology and reparative medicine. We strive to create an inclusive environment that welcomes people from diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences who are driven toward finding novel solutions to brain disorders.
Our lab seeks to recruit, support, and retain members from interdisciplinary backgrounds. As a team, we are committed to maximizing the potential of each trainee by fostering their natural curiosity and talents. Our research endeavors are therefore a reflection of our commitment to a diverse training environment. To us, this means ensuring our lab members remain engaged in solving scientific problems that affect everyone.
*Our lab supports yearly conference travel. This is an important part of the training plan and these experiences, along with national workshops, are highly encouraged!
